St. Stephen’s Preschool offers multiple options for expanding your child’s school day. Our core preschool program for all of the children remains constant; however, the older children will have options for arriving early or staying later.
For those children coming four or five days per week, we offer the opportunity for dropping them off at 8:00 a.m. You will escort your child to the room adjacent to our Toddler Morning Out space, the church nursery, when you arrive. At 8:55 a.m. the children arriving early will enter their assigned classrooms in the usual manner.
The five-day children have the option of staying until 1:45 p.m. daily, Monday through Friday. The two programs available during that time are either Lunch Bunch or Enrichment.
Before you enroll in any of these choices, we ask that you carefully consider your child’s disposition and needs. For some children a longer day offers exciting opportunities; for some, it is not so appealing.
Our goal, and I’m sure, yours as well, is that your child learn to love being at school and learning. Please consider his/her unique personality before making these decisions.
